| Assessment | ||||||||
| School Psychologists are involved in providing Pupil Personnel Services to all students to help make education a positive, and rewarding experience. The first priority of service from this group involves the evaluation of students to determine their need for special education services. Case study evaluations include several domains which may be assessed by PPS staff. School Psychologists are responsible for the psychological evaluation. Additionally, they typically may complete the student interview, the review of academic history and current functioning, the educational evaluation of learning processes and achievement and the assessment of the learning environment. Together the PPS staff gathers a great deal of the information the IEP team needs to make appropriate recommendations for students. | ||||||||
