Project LIFE is a transition program for students ages 16–22 that utilizes a curriculum developed by Butler Tech to prepare students for successful adult lives. The program focuses on three key areas: life at home, life at work, and life in the community, helping students build the employment, independent living, and community participation skills needed for positive post-school outcomes.
Students participate in vocational training at community volunteer worksites for two hours per day, four days per week, while also receiving classroom instruction and engaging in community-based learning experiences. Project LIFE is housed at EIASE's Adult LIFE building, where students receive individualized instruction and support as they prepare for greater independence in adulthood.
